Well crafted sandals beautifully made, I ordered two pairs and rate them with 5 stars however order said free shipping to Europe which I did not get being in the UK also charged £51 from FedEx on the day of delivery for customs and excise or you cannot claim them until you pay . However, I will note that a heel strap came loose after about 9 months of intermittent wear on one of the shoes of my first pair, but I glued it back in and it is holding well so far.

Items are true to description and online images. A lost art refound in my opinion. I would suggest that that they supplied with the paper pulp moulded foot to retain it shape during transit and kept for storage at the customers home.

Leather sole not comfortable

Hello, they beautiful but not that comfortable. Remember that when buying it gave the option to select leather or rubber sole and I selected leather. I don't feel it comfortable. Is it possible to post some rubber pieces and I get them installed by a shoe repairer in zlondin?

I have been searching for fisherman sandals for months. Hit all the high end stores and was willing to pay £££'s. These popped up on yet another google search and I am so glad they did. I purchased the brown leather size 39 for a UK6 (female) and they are just luscious. They fit perfectly. All the other brands are for very skinny feet, these are slightly wider, so comfy I was able to wear them straight away. Would defiantly purchase again, and I am very very fussy!!!! Thanks so much.

The sandals is beautiful and comfortable. Only problem is the left sandals fastening strap is not long enough. Please remember to increase the length of the fastening straps, especially for a size 46.

Beautiful, simple sandals

The sandals fit well and look nice and simple. Two remarks: 1) They color (at least in the beginning) a little bit, both the hands when looking at the sandals and the naked feet. 2) The leather straps are not connected to the sole of the right and left shoe at the same (mirrored) points; the differences of about 5 mm are indeed visible. Nevertheless I like the sandals.

Extremely fast shipping. I'm in Australia. I ordered this on a Friday and received it the following Wednesday. The sandals are exactly as described/depicted. The only "fault" in this purchase is that the left sandal had one particular leather line/strap in the weave that was longer than the right side's sandal, but I suppose with hand-made goods there will be slight inconsistencies. No biggie, my foot isn't slipping out because of it. Overall very happy with the purchase.

The sandals are great: elegant, comfortable, and light. Kudos to the maker! My only comment is on the soles: they are a little thin (this was evident in the pictures) and am thinking of reinforcing them a bit. Hopefully this will not ruin an otherwise very elegant look. Delivery was very prompt: ordered from Southern Californai on Monday, got notification for shipment on Wednesday and received the sandals on Friday. Overall good exprerience. Will definitely use the site in the future.

Questo tipo di sandali "francescani" sono molto simili al modello "frate" testa di moro ma con la suola più leggera.
Essendo che le cose doppie visivamente mi danno un senso di fortezza e resistenza allora decisi di acquistare questo paio per ultimi.
Sono decisamente più sottili per la suola e talmente soft da velocizzare il passo rispetto ad altri modelli.
Esteticamente possono andar bene a chi ama il classico, il vintage, oppure uno stile più maturo.
Gianluca è davvero eccellente nel creare scarpe di stile che durano col tempo!
Se in futuro ci saranno modelli simili al "frate" o "francescano" li acquisterò sicuramente senza esitazioni!
Per ora la mia collezione l'ho completata.

Die Dinger rochen am Anfang etwas nach Spiritus, am besten auslüften. Die dunkelbraune Farbe färbt etwas (stark) ab auf Füße & Socken, daher 1 Stern Abzug. Würde ich wieder kaufen! -- Solid hand made sandals! Quick delivery. At the beginning they smelled a bit (cleaner/alcohol), but after wearing them it vanished. The only downside is that the dark brown colour still bleeds onto my feet and socks.

Sehr schöne Sandalen von hervorragender Qualität. Wirken auf den ersten Blick gut gefertigt und bestechen durch reduzierte Ästhetik. Leder sieht hochwertig aus. Habe lange nach ähnlichen Schuhen gesucht und daher gleich 5 Paar bestellt. Kleiner Tip: die Ledersohlen sind neu sehr glatt, ich habe daher und zum längeren Erhalt der hochwertigen Ledersohle noch eine Gummisohle beim Schuster auftragen lassen. Die Schuhe riechen wegen der Färbung / Bearbeitung relativ stark nach Spiritus (was mich nicht gestört hat); wen das stört, sollte einrechnen, dass sie ein paar Tage lüften, bevor man sie tragen kann.
